ABSTRACT This article aims to analyze the symbolic relationships between the teacher educators of the Degree in Chemistry at the Federal Institutes of Santa Catarina - Brazil based on provisions incorporated throughout their personal, academic, and professional trajectory (habitus and capitals). To achieve this proposed objective, semi-structured interviews and document analysis were defined as instruments for the construction of research data. Interviews were conducted with 7 teacher educators who work in the Degree of Chemistry at the Federal Institutes of Santa Catarina - Brazil. In turn, the document analysis obtained data from the lattes curriculum of these teachers interviewed and from information on the distribution of the workload of these teacher educators available on the websites of the Federal Institutes of Santa Catarina - Brazil where they work. In the data analysis, two main categories stand out: social class and capitals, and the identified capitals are: cultural, social, political, and academic-scientific. Thus, based on Pierre Bourdieu’s concepts of habitus and capital, the social classes of origin of the teacher educators and the capital accumulated by them throughout their personal, academic and professional trajectory, which constitute their habitus, are analyzed. Also, based on the capital accumulated by the teacher educators, the organization of symbolic relations between the agents in this space is highlighted.

RESUMO Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar as relações simbólicas entre os professores formadores do curso de Licenciatura em Química dos Institutos Federais de Santa Catarina a partir das disposições incorporadas ao longo da trajetória pessoal, acadêmica e profissional (habitus e capitais). Para alcançar esse objetivo proposto, definiu-se como instrumentos para construção dos dados de pesquisa a entrevista semiestruturada e a análise documental. Foram realizadas entrevistas com 7 professores formadores que atuam nos cursos de Licenciatura em Química dos Institutos Federais de Santa Catarina. Por sua vez, a análise documental obteve dados a partir do currículo lattes desses docentes entrevistados e de informações sobre a distribuição da carga horária desses professores formadores, disponíveis nos sites dos Institutos Federias em que eles atuam. Na análise dos dados, duas categorias principais se sobressaem: classe social e capitais, sendo que os capitais identificados são: cultural, social, político e acadêmico-científico. Dessa forma, a partir dos conceitos de habitus e capital de Pierre Bourdieu, analisa-se as classes sociais de origem dos professores formadores e os capitais acumulados por eles ao longo de sua trajetória pessoal, acadêmica e profissional, que constituem seu habitus. Ainda, a partir dos capitais acumulados pelos professores formadores, destaca-se a organização das relações simbólicas entre os agentes nesse espaço.

ABSTRACT: This literature review article aimed to discuss how national research has related the topic of Human Rights to the Training of Natural Science Teachers. To this end, academic products were selected in CAPES Qualis journals from strata A1, A2, and B1 (2013‒2016 quadrennium). The following aspects were analyzed: the context of the investigations, how the research was conducted, the main results, and recommendations. The analysis showed that only two papers directly exhibited this relationship, whereas the others interfaced with the topics Environmental Education, Gender/Sexuality/Sex, and Diversity. The topic that appeared most in the research is related to the discussion on Environmental Education and most studies had initial training as their context. We found that some publications are concerned with this articulation; however, there are still gaps such as research on specific training on Human Rights for teachers working in this area of knowledge.

RESUMEN: Este artículo de revisión de literatura tuvo como objetivo discutir cómo la investigación nacional relacionó los temas de Derechos Humanos y Formación de Profesores de Ciencias Naturales. Para ello, se seleccionaron producciones académicas en revistas Qualis/CAPES, referentes a los estratos A1, A2 y B1 (2013 - 2016). Se analizaron: el contexto de las investigaciones, como ellas se desarrollaron, los principales resultados y recomendaciones. El análisis mostró que solo dos trabajos presentan directamente esta relación, mientras que los otros interactúan con los temas Educación Ambiental, Género/Sexualidad/Sexo y Diversidad. La temática que más aparece en las investigaciones se relaciona con la discusión sobre Educación Ambiental y la mayoría de las obras tenía como contexto la formación inicial de los profesores. Se constató que existen producciones que se preocupan por esta articulación, sin embargo, aún existen vacíos, como, por ejemplo, la investigación sobre las formaciones específicas en Derechos Humanos para docentes que actúan en esta área del conocimiento.

RESUMO: Este artigo de revisão bibliográfica objetivou discutir como as pesquisas nacionais têm relacionado a temática Direitos Humanos e Formação de Docentes de Ciências Naturais. Para tanto, foram selecionadas produções acadêmicas em periódicos do Qualis da CAPES, referentes aos estratos A1, A2 e B1 (quadriênio 2013 - 2016). Foram analisados: o contexto das investigações, como as pesquisas foram desenvolvidas, os principais resultados e recomendações. A análise mostrou que apenas dois trabalhos apresentam diretamente essa relação, enquanto os demais fazem interface com as temáticas Educação Ambiental, Gêneros/Sexualidade/Sexo e Diversidade. A temática que mais aparece nas pesquisas está relacionada à discussão sobre Educação Ambiental e a maioria dos trabalhos tinha como contexto a formação inicial de docentes. Constatou-se que há produções que se preocupam com essa articulação, entretanto, ainda há lacunas, como, por exemplo, pesquisas sobre formações específicas sobre Direitos Humanos para os docentes que atuam nessa área do conhecimento.

Este estudo investigou artigos publicados na seção "Experimentação no Ensino de química" da Revista Química Nova na Escola entre 2000 e 2008. O objetivo foi analisar se e como a contextualização vem sendo usada nos experimentos incluídos nessa seção. A fundamentação teórica consistiu no estudo dos conceitos de experimentação e contextualização. A metodologia incluiu a seleção e análise de experimentos verificando: qual concepção de contextualização estava sendo usada; a coerência entre a contextualização e os conceitos químicos envolvidos; quais conteúdos foram mais recorrentes e se ao longo desse período houve mudança na frequência e na concepção de contextualização proposta nos experimentos. Os resultados indicaram que a concepção de contextualização mais recorrente foi a de "exemplificação de fatos do cotidiano".

This study investigated papers published in the section "Experimentation in the Chemistry Education", of the New Chemistry at School Journal, from 2000 to 2008. The aim was to examine if and how contextualization has been used in the experiments included in that journal section. The theoretic background was grounded on the concept studies of experimentation and contextualization. Methodology included selection and analysis of experiments, finding out: which contextualization concept was used; check the coherence between contextualization and chemistry concepts involved; identify which subjects were more frequently selected, as well as, analyse if along the period studied there was any change on the frequence and conception of experiments proposed. Results indicated that the most common contextualization concept was "the use of daily facts exemplification".

The aim of this paper was to evaluate alterations in the quality of the water of the Tibagi River caused by the urban and industrial activities in the region of Ponta Grossa. The study involved the monitoring of physico-chemical and microbiological parameters of the water body, which were evaluated by a principal components analysis routine. Sample collections were carried out monthly during one year (October of 2005 to September of 2006), at 3 sampling points: upstream and downstream of the industrial district and downstream from the city of Ponta Grossa. The principal components analysis showed the effect of point sources associated with industrial activity, which contribute to the rise of total concentration of amoniacal nitrogen and the reduction of dissolved oxygen in the studied region.
